Hello, I too took Levaquin in Feb 06 and am still suffering everyday with chronic pain. Achilles tendon hurts daily, I still worry about rupture and there is now permanent nerve damage in that area. the levaquin attacks the fluids in your joints and damages the cartilage, which explains the daily joint pain. I was told to take NSAIDs to help with the pain at first but later found information suggesting that could worsen the issue. I took the drug for 6 days before realizing that all the pain I was having was from the Levaquin and have since figured out the my aching joints for the last 3 years was from having taken Cipro in 2004 for a UTI. I wish you luck and hope that you find relief. I would look into acupuncture and alternative medicines. I have had luck with several types of supplements. It destroyed the good bacteria in my systems and now I take acidolphilus daily and cran-actin to guard against future UTI issues. I also have to take daily acid reflux meds. I found a study done in 2001 by some drs and athletes who were poisoned by this drug and some have had great if not total improvment within 3-5 years, so that gives me some hope that this nightmare will end. Same thing here but I told the dr, he ignored my ADR's and told me to continue meds 'if I wanted to get well" too. It wasnt until I saw a 'lawsuit advertisement' about levaquin did I do my own research:(:(

And with every dr denying the validity of my complaints, how in heavens name could I even begin to win a lawsuit.
I'm 'crazy' in their book, and they are ALL satan in my book, cuz my life is hell now.
