I am a 33 year old woman -- I have been on Toprol XL 50 mg for 2 years for HBP -- Off and on I have epsiodes of severe chest tightness - feels like someone has a belt around my chest and is pulling. Got so bad went to my Dr. thinking I had developed asthma. Put me on asthma meds and they do NOT HELP the chest tightness. Has anyone else experienced this chest tightness? Any response would be GREATLY appreciated.
