I don't mean to be an alarmist, but I was placed on this medicine for migraines. It is poison. After 7 months my body completely changed. I started having panic attacks and anxiety. I couldn't sleep. My neurologist started playing around with my dosage and I finally went to my regular doctor who said I needed to get off of it immediately, It has been a long three months since I have been off the med and my doc said it could take up to a year to feel 100% better. Please rethink this med. The makers of Topamax have suspended further testing and they were trying to get the FDA to approve it for weightloss, but that has stopped as well. I hope this helps. If I can just stop one person from going through what I did then I will post this anywhere I can. I have never been on any meds before for anything. I hope I will get back to the person I once knew.
