I was given Levaquin Jan. 2007 for mild pnemonia. On day 3 of taking this poison I woke up with severe pain behind my knee, weakness, couldn't walk right. Since then I have experienced numerous problems, such as rapid heart rate, nerve pain, hot skin... After 10 months of walking on my painful knee, I was finally diagnosed with cartilage damage. In Oct. I had an Arthroscopic surgery. The surgery didn't work due to severe cartilage damage and bone on bone pain. My right knee is beginning to deteriate as well. Yes, your hip problem probably is from Levaquin. Until medical doctors start listening to patients and investigate these crippling side effects, people will keep suffering. I am scheduled for a total knee replacement which is devastating to me because I had no prior knee problems before Jan. 2007. My life has changed so much due to the ongoing pain and weakness caused from this toxic drug. Good Luck to you.
