As someone who previously worked for a women's clinic, you are being irresponsible in your degradation of other people's complications with medication. Side effects are very real things, and not everyone responds to the same medication the same way. This is one of the reasons there have been so many birth control pills developed over the last 40 years. It is always better to be educated about, and take seriously any side effects for a medication than to pretend they are non-existent. I suggest you educate yourself and read the informational brochure that comes with your own brand of birth control pills to see the very tangible, real list of complications that could occur for you or anyone else. Maybe then you will not be so arrogant.
everyone reacts differently to pills because each human body is different. different immunities and different weaknesses. maybe you should consider not being so narrowminded about why people share these side effects. it's not to scare them, but to make them aware of WHAT the side effects could be. they are doing us a favor. if you don't want to hear the facts, dont research them.
Wow, I agree with the ladies who put Miss Bitchy in her place!
No kidding! That was just ridiculous! I have experienced a few side effects from this pill, I have had mood swings, nausea, and cramps. Psychologically, I swear I am as well off in that department as you could expect! I think its a great pill so far too, the side effects are mild and I am lucky enough to have a boyfriend that will see a mood swing and be able to laugh it off with me. It is better than the alternative, I agree. Just cut us some slack! I apologize we dont all react to medications the same way you do. In fact Im jealous! :) lol
Umm wow, that has got to be one of the most arrogant posts I have read. I have been on aviane for a few months and gained 15 pounds first two months I was on it. My previous BC had me in raging mood swings. It had nothing to do w/ bitchiness, it had to do exactly with how those hormones were affecting me. I don't get this way w/ this particular BC and am pretty normal, other than by now 20 pound weight gain. So please, do more research when you put others down next time.
hmmm maybe you can say the same thing as coat hangers... "Be grateful you have something like this... it's better than being pregnant..."
Just a thought :)
....Jerk
i am so glad i read your review whoever you are. i just moved and the pharmacy where im at now doesnt carry my brand of bc so they gave me something similar, i am still going to check with my doc monday before i take it, but the reviews these ppl are giving scared me enough to wait it out at least til i speak with my doctor. the pharmacy gave me lutera, told me its pretty much the same pill but i just switched to aviane like 3 to 4 months ago from another pill so im already a little hesitant. any words of advice?
