Can someone tell me how long it took for the symptoms to go away. I have been itchy, eye swelling, tingles, numbness in my hands and feet as well as a rash.

Can you tell me if you are taking prednisone and if so is it long term or just "burst" treatment?

My son started this med for bad bout of asthma on Thursday...50m and then 50 m again on Friday. This am. Sat. he woke with numb left hand and some tingling. I am wondering if this is a side effect of the med. Dr. out of office until Tues. so I don't know if I should go to Emerg with him as it is still numb 14 hours later.

my son was on singulair for approximately one week and he had body aches and his feet hurt and his jaw hurt all normal and tolerable .then he started to experience a bit of trouble sleeping at 2 weeks ,then the last three days of his life he was highly agitated and anxious and moody. We were not sure what was going on and never had he had such behavior! We were told that there were minimal side effects and convinced this drug was better than allegra which he had no trouble with. This drug caused psychological distress and he lost all of his coping skills it needs different warning labels and we are fighting to get that. This child was an awsome kid and would never have done this without this mind altering drug.Teens are very prone to stress and this would never have been given had i known the adverse reactions of all the people that posted they just dont list these in the pharmacy insert
