I was curious if anyone had swelling "inside" after insertion? I had mine put in on Halloween. Not to be gross, but when I look at it in the mirror I honestly don't know what's going on in there.....it just looks swollen. I have NO pain or discomfort, and the nurse said she thinks I'm ok, just to let them know if I get any discharge or cramping. Let me know if anyone has had this go on.

YESS!!! I too have swelling down there, I thought I was the only one, I have had my Mirena since May 2007 and it seems as though not only to I have swelling, also I have itchy skin and acne problems....as mentioned above
