I feel the exact same way, hang in there. I have been taking zoloft for about 10 days now; just upped my dose to 50mgs after the 7th day. I am feeling like a space cadet! Basicly I feel emotionally numb and in a dream like state. I also am increasingly nervous and feel like I'm going crazy. I just have to remind myself that zoloft sucks at the beginning . I took it once before for about a year, looking back it really did help. The hardest part for me is that I have a girlfriend that has to see me go through all the bad beginning side effects. Plus I'm under pressure to get a job right now, going in for interviews with this state of mind is something else to say the least. Just remember your not the only one, it will get better. YOU WILL GET BETTER.... Be strong be brave and you will prevail.

I have been on Zegered for about 3 months and developed costocondritis which basically causes chest pain but its coming from inflammation of the rib cage.. My doctors are baffled about what is causing this. I just stopped the Zegerid and feel a little better already. How long did it take for you to completely recover from side effects? Also are you currently on another PPI and if so which one. Thanks for your posting on this site it helped alot to connect the possible cause of this.
