I had the Mirena inserted two weeks ago. It was very painful when it was inserted and I also had a few cramps the same day. It was inserted while I was on my period and the bleeding stopped the next day. My husband and I had sex two days after it was inserted and the next day I started bleeding again only it wasnt blood. It was light brown dischage and i dont know what this is but it stopped after a few days. I really didnt think anything else about it until my husband and i had sex again a few days ago and it was so painful i started crying and we had to stop. The very next day I started having the same light brown discharge. This morning I started really bleeding blood and I dont know why this is. Is this normal?

I can't wait to get my Mirena removed next Friday and wish we could all club together for a Class Action against the manufacturers. I have done some research on the web since I could not explain the continual weight gain I am experiencing even though I am seeing a dietician and am doing more exercise than before. I have now found numerous forums where the side effects are destroying us women. My experience has been weight gain, abdominal bloating, massive mood swings, feeling down, adult acne (I've now been on an antibiotic to counteract this for a year), increased hair on my face, constipation, etc! My family have put up with the brunt of my moods and has made for a very difficult time for us all.
