I'm a 53 yr young woman, Prescribed a 2 week dose of Prednisone 1-1/2 weeks ago for continued ear infection and vertigo. Now the headaches are worse, feel like a vise grip is tightening around my skull, vertigo is worse, I'm having hot flashes and night sweats and feel like my blood pressure is rising. I want to just stop taking them but have been told this could be dangerous as well.
I think you should contact your doctor or any doctor and explain what is going on. If you feel like your blood pressure is rising, chances are it is.
I am having a lot of the same syptoms (I don't take Vertigo) but I don't know if it's an ear infection, or something more serious, because my mom refuses to take me for medical treatment, insisting that it will go away....it's not.
