That is wonderful that you don't feel horrible on the Mirena. It is good you are one of the ones who did not lose relationships, self-esteem, have been on anti-depressants, joint pain so bad they were sent to specialist for Arthritis, bleeding for months and months on end, have had to get it surgically removed or repaired because it migrated out of the uterus, have try to commit suicide from the depression. I am happy it works for you. It is because of people like you that the company and doctors insist that all OUR problems could definately NOT be the Mirena. Well I had one in and have had it removed and my symptoms disappeared in a matter of weeks and I feel like a whole new person. I guess you are one of the lucky ones but saying it that way undermines and takes away from our hurts and loses and I am not sure this is the site for you.
I agree with the person above. Sure, its good that some people have no problems with this product, but sooo many people have. Myself included. I don't think its fair that you should rub salt in the wound for the any people on here who have experienced horrendous side-effects. Good luck to you. I would be careful though, if you notice any side effects they generally get worse over time and not better. And I never experienced side effects untill I'd had it in for 2 years. Now I have it out I feel amazing. Like I felt before I had it put in.
