Hi, I have tried several other BC pills such as Yasmin and Ortho-tricyclen lo and so far this is working for me. This is my second week on the pill and no problems whatsoever. I take it at night which helps with the nausea and cramps. I have a little bloating so far and not much weight gain yet. I still fit in my same clothes although I try to be careful what I eat. Everyone is different so you should stick with it for a while. Im learning as I go alone on how to best take them and so far taking them at night is working for me as you don't experience all of the side effects as everyone else it. So far so good, no nightmares, or crazy mood swings and no breakthrough bleeding yet. Give it a try a little while longer. You're suppose to stay on three months so your body can get used to them and then if it's not working, then you tell your doctor to swith them.
I've started taking Loestrin on Oct 1. I am now on my third pack of pills. In the very beginning I felt slight nauseated at times and it went away. But now I'm beginning my third pack and the nausea is back and stronger than it was before. Its not a constant nausea feeling, but over the past week, I've felt naused 4 out of seven days. I work night shift so I've been vomiting on my job the over the past few nights-not fun. I'm definitely contacting my gyno doc tomorrow. Because I've been on the pills long enough for them to have gotten in my system and I would have thought I would be over this side effect by now.
