I feel very sad to hear that your life has taken such a bad turn; but I doubt that it was caused by the Lupron. You see, I suffered from endometriosis for more years than I care to remember. One of my doctors put me on Lupron, which I injected (subcutaneous) myself with every morning for 3 months. The only side effects I suffered were hot flashes and a little bit of hair under my chin, which isn't even noticeable. I hope your terrible symptoms will subside. Have you considered that it might be early menopause. I started menopause when I was 38. I am 48 and am through it now; but the symptoms were horrific. Sizzling hotflashes, roller coaster mood swings, zero libido, hair loss . .. the list goes on. Now that I am through menopause, I experience only slight hot flashes every now and then.
Hi,
I totally know how you feel myself. I just googled to see if anyone was going through what I am going through and I'm 31, but you have..
I got my second lupron shot november 19th. I am being treated for adenomyosis. The first shot I I was fine for two weeks and then the real heavy bleeding, headaches, throwing up, nasuea, high blood pressure, I mean the worst headaches and added hot flashed because my hormones were so out of wack I was already having hot flashes. I am 11 weeks post op myomectomy and it's been hell since. Now after the second shot the bleeding finally stopped. I don't even know how I am managing to type back right now. I am seconds from calling the ambulance to escort me to the hospital because I just can't take the headache. the lights the sound, It feels like someone is beating me in the back of my head with a hammer nonstop. It makes me throw up and nasueas. I can't take it. other side effects are one minute I feel like it's the greatest day ever and I'm singing and happy. Then I'm mad as hell. then I'm just pissed, then I'm sooo down I feel like I'm not going to live to see my next birthday. I was hoping to try for another baby but I am ready to get a hysterectomy as soon as possible to avoid all of this any longer. I'm also starting to forget. I tried to take my boys to the mall tonight and had to cut it short because my head hurt so bad I was afraid to drive. I made it home safely but the headache is a night mare right now. I'll pray for you, you pray for me.

Wow! I took Lupron injections for three months and I suppose I am lucky, but the only side effect I had were hot flashes. Yeah, they got on my nerves, but it wasn't that bad. I find it hard to believe that you feel you are still suffering from side effects from Lupron after only having one shot six years ago. It sounds like this may be psychological and you are blaming Lupron for the way you feel. I do not see how one shot can be affecting you six years down the road when your body has went back to normal a long time ago. Why don't you forget about the Lupron and start making an active effort to do something to make you feel better.
