For my bipolar mood disorder it has worked great. My life has never been this stable on any other psyche med. However, the loss of concentration and short-term memory loss, and difficulty with word-finding ability has been the impairment.
I have been on Topamax about 2 years and definitely have short-term memort loss. You are the first one I have seen mention difficulty with word-finding ability. I have difficulty also with using the wrong words or opposite words in place of other words. I thought maybe I needed to look into Alzheimers until I read your posting, and I'm just 43. Thank you.
