Thank you for your posting regarding Danazol. I took it for nearly 14 years to curb PMS. It was wonderful, I probably never so good. Suddenly my cholestrol began to act up. My bad cholestrol was too high and my good cholestrol was practically non-existant. When I tried to get off it my periods returned very heavily (I was 58yrs., old) and so did the PMS. Finally I tried one last time and it was okay. No periods and no PMS (I was 60), Last year my doctor put me on Lipitor for my cholestrol. After about 10 months I began to have serious muscle pain and weakness from head to foot. Especially in my shoulders and neck. I cut out the Lipitor because that is one of that drug's side effects. Well it's been over a month now and this past two weeks has been awful. I can hardly get out of bed in the morning. Everything aches and hurts right down to my fingers. I am active and work in a factory so I am quite busy all day and early evening. I have tried all OTC drugs for relief and nothing helps except hot baths. Today a friend suggested I try magnesium so I bought some at the drug store. I take epsom salt baths every night. Next week I am off to the doctor. Any better remedies out there would be appreciated.
