After 9 months on Norvasc the symptoms intensified. Very dizzy, weak, nausea from spinning head, insomnia. Num feeling in left hand. Within 24 hours after stopping Norvasc the symptoms started to subside. The heaviness in the chest was there but I thought it was a bad heart. Tests show I have a health heart. I'm diabetic, no meds, and have high blood pressure, I also take Accupril for my blood pressure.
I Googled my symptoms and am very happy to find this site. I have been on Norvasc for 9 months too. I have developed thigh numbness and just recently thigh heaviness. I am going to stop taking Norvasc as a trial to my symptoms.It never occurred to me this could be a side effect from medication.
