Advise you to see your Ophthalmologist ASAP! Your eye symptoms could be the result of a detached retina! May just be the vitreous humor pulled away from the retina which is not serious and will go away - but get it checked out RIGHT AWAY -- a detached retina must be addressed immediately to prevent permanent vision loss.
Please go to www.fqresearch.org to get more information on this type of antibiotics - quenelones.
There you will also find links to other interesting sites.
Also read the book "Bitter Pills" by Stephen Fried.
Search on the words - floxed, floxies.
If I remember rigth there is also a site called www.fqvictims.org.
I have neither taken this kind of medication nor worked in the medical field.
I knew someone who used Cipro.
He died earlier this year after several years of medical problems which no-one seemed to relate to his medications.
It´s possible that the combination of cortisone, NSAID (non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs) and Zocor (a lipid lowering drug) made it all worse.
It´s not unusual with psyciatric side effects as anxiety and even psycosis.
But there are a lot more of them, like a syndrom.
My advice - don´t take antibiotics unless it´s really necessary and do some "research" before you take them!
Please have some tests done. Get your eyes checked, have an ekg, have blood tests done for thyroid. Also please send in a medwatch report to www.fda.gov. Good luck and God Bless.
