I took Bactrim for 2 days. I developer blisters, eye swelling and acute pancreatitis. I was hospitalized for 13 days. I am still very sick from this drug and I think people should be made aware of the harmful side affects.
I was prescribed Bactrim for a UTI.
I was recently prescribed Bactrim for a UTI also. I developed severe edema (swelling) in my ankles and feet. My dr. now had to prescribe Prednisone to combat this and another antibiotic to combat the UTI (which has not clered up). He marked my chart now as being allergic to Bactrim.
