I noticed I didn't put my side effects. They are "Charlie horses...

Of course they told you to keep taking it! Drug reps push Yasmin on doctors and health care workers BIG TIME. They bring them samples to dole out, all kinds of office supplies, lunches for the whole office everyday, and other "perks"...just to get them to prescribe their drugs. Of course Yasmin representatives are not the ONLY drug reps that do this....it benefits everyone...except you....for you to stay on it. I used to work in a medical office...so believe me, I know how this works. Actually...a lot of doctors prescribe things that maybe they normally wouldn't...because of the smooth talking reps and all their perks.
My advice....do what YOU think is best for YOU.

stop taking it.. i had charlie horse too...was a blood clot. it broke loose, and ended up with DVT and blood clots went to both lungs.. almosted died. im ok now..but leg pain persist even a year later.

please dont take it anymore.. charlie horse could be blood clot like mine. i almost died from it. blood clot broke loose and lodged in both of my lungs. i was very lucky. it was called DVT/bilateral pulmonary embolisms. still having leg pain 1 year later. off of coumadin, have to wear compression stockings. all from yasmin.
