Along with Prednisone, I am on Methotrexate and now a slightly enlarged spleen that has reduced my red platelets to only 75,000 If my Doc takes me off of these pills for my RA, what kind of pain will I be in and is there any alternatives to Prednisone and Methotrexate. I've been on these for 5 years now.
