12/13/07 I took Prednisone for 5 months and now my face has finally went back down but not the weight. I got back on it again but this time I wont be on it as long, I have already notice within 3 days of taking it I can't sleep at night. I am taken 20 mg , two in the morning a day....
How long were you off Prednisone before your face went back to normal? I have been on Pred since September and am weaning off it now. Am down to 20MG daily but my puffiness is still there. Face feels tight and throbbing too! I am sorry I ever took this drug! Hope you dont have to be on too long.

I have been in Prednisone for 4 months already i started in 80mg now i am in 20mg. Right now my side effects is hair loss.. it is falling in big clumps ... i feel what you are going thru and i wish you the best...
hopefully i will be off of this medication in 4 more months.. its depends if my diease won't come back...
