I had the majority of your symptoms also - you are NOT going crazy! I have a new doctor now and she wants to take Mirena out immediately - I just have to wait a couple weeks for the insurance paperwork to go through. But I've decided I will pay to take it out if my insurance won't cover it! The one symptom you are having that really concerns me is the pain in your legs because blood clots can happen. I would highly recommend seeing a female obgyn and explain your circumstances to her. She will have more experience with Mirena and will be able to advise you better. I cannot believe your doctor said it wouldn't hurt! Mine warned me to take 800mgs of ibuprofen before hand and said the cramps could be extremely strong (which mine were even after the ibuprofen). I wish you best of luck and make sure to update on here if you learn anything new.
Yes i am hurting as well from the Mirena. I had it put in on December 6, 2007 and have been in excrutating pain. I am going to try and give it a chance to work but not sure if i can either. I feel bloated and am ovulating now with terrible cramps and also very moody.
I had the Mirena put in just 2 weeks ago and have been in excrutating pain. I have a history of endometriosis and feel it has returned because I have gotten of the pill which hides it. My cramps are terrible and I have mood swings as well. I feel I should give it a chance since I already went through the pain of getting it but don't know if it will get better. I am ovulating now and could barely make it to work this week.
