I am 60 years old female & have been taking Lipitor for about 4 years. I recently went off the drug for 3 months, & in that time much of the muscle pain I was experiencing began to lesson. I have pain in both arms from the below up to my shoulder. Hip pain & leg cramps. I have trouble sleeping & absolutely no sex drive. Of course, my Cholesterol went sky high, over 300. I have only been back on 80 mgs for a month and a half, & all of the aches and pains are back ten fold. I feel a hundred years old.I have to make a big decision...die of high Cholesterol, or live a life of constant pain and sleep deprivation. This is really bad. I f I had to run or crawl to save my life, I'd never make it.

Go to Knowthecause.com. You will find out that high cholesteterol can be corrected by diet and antifungal supplements. It is caused by yeast growth in the body. If you go on his diet, and take the antifungal supplements found at the health food store you will lower your cholesterol.

Hello,

I have to share my progress with everyone who may have read my experience with Lipitor, posted on 01/1/08. I only stopped taking Lipitor 3 weeks ago, but the improvement I am already experiencing is so encouraging, that I want to share this with you all. My leg cramps & constant leg pain have completely gone away. My knee pain has improved greatly, but is not completely gone. I can get down on my knees now & get up without assistance. One of my arms is almost pain free while the other arm is still about the same. My hands, which I know are effected by Osteoarthritis, have shown som improvment, but my fingers still tingle, etc. With all of this said, I am just thrilled to have lost the excrutiating pain in both of my legs. This was the most debilitating thing I was experiencing.
Whether or not my hair stops thinning/falling out & if my Libido improves, well.... the jury is still out. I am trying to do as much as possible to reduce my High Cholesterol naturally. I checked out Knowthecause.com. thanks to the advice of wholland5, #3797, & added Psyllium to my daily routine, plus I take a TBSPN of Apple Cidar Vinagar 3 times a day. So far my indigestion is gone. I won't make an appointmant to test my Cholesterol for at least 3 months. No matter what the stats may be, I will NEVER go back on Lipitor.

I sincerly wish the Best results & Good Health to all of you.

Nancy

This stuff is killing people and there is no proof that high cholesterol is killing anybody. Get off the poison of these statins and just eat right, exercise after the pain goes away and don't worry about the cholesterol levels. These statins are destroying the quality of life of everyone I know that is taking them. The doctors are either stupid or are in league with the drug companies. Listen to your body and save yourself. You are the only one that can.
