I just starting taking this birth control 2 months ago and have the same thing happening. My hair is really falling out, and some breakage. Its not that bad right now but I am afraid to continue taking it if Im going to go bald!! Have you spoken to your doctor about it?

I have not spoken to my doctor my appt is next month, I seriously just considered the ring as the reason last night.

I have been using NuvoRing for 4 months and my hair is breaking and falling out. I just thought that my hair lady left the bleach in to long. If we are all experiencing this, then it must be the ring.

Weird!! Im a hair stylist and change my hair every couple of months and this is the first time ive had bad breakage with my hair. i didnt even condider that it was the nuva ring. I just got on this website last night and decided last night to take it out, because the symptoms I had were matching up to everyone else's. I dont think the ring is a very safe method of bc. I'm not so sure there is a safe method.

i have no problem with my hair it really helped it much. but have you miss a month before and put it back in the next month is that a good idea?

I have been using the ring since Jan. 2008 and now its march 2008. Last sunday my hair came out in clumps, literal clumps and I'm thinning all over. Im going to be BALD within a few days. It has killed my hair follicles. Literally...Im seriously documenting this hair loss with pictures in preperation for some sort of legal recourse should all my blood work come back normal.
