I'm wondering if weight gain is one of the side-effects. I haven't been experiencing all the other things talked about -- maybe I've been a bit more emotional than normal, but nothing extreme. However, I have gained weight and I think it may be a side-effect. Has anyone else had this issue with this pill?

Hi, I have been on Yasmin for over 2 years.
It is a good pill. The most beneficial part about Yasmin is that it is a diuretic (releases water) and hence you have less bloating. I would say I have put on about 2kg and it had stayed that way, nothing excessive. Its great for your skin too.

I almost never worry about my weight, I don't eat junk food and am a long time vegan. I am a marathon runner and lift weights regularly, however since I have been on Yasmin, which was 2 days after Christmas I have packed on 6 pounds! I am distraught. I am throwing them away because they are the only thing that is different that I can think of.
