I'm a 49 year old male. I've been on Zocor for a little over a month for cholesterol control. I began experiencing symptoms exactly like you describe last week in my right knee. Progressive aching, arthritis-like stiffness, and finally swelling in the knee led me to go to the ER over the weekend. Surfing the web I came across your posting because Zocor side effects have been a concern since I started taking it. I'm definitely going to talk to my doctor about stopping the Zocor. Al
I forgot to mention the dose of Zocor I was on just in case anyone was interested. I've been taking 10mg (20mg tablet cut with a pill cutter). Al
