virgo77 -- I had the EXACT same experience with Yaz. About a year ago my doctor tried to switch me from Yasmine to Yaz. It was awful. By far, the worst experience I've ever had with a birth control pill. I was a complete basket case! The week of my period, all I could do was cry uncontrollably for no reason. It was like by compressing my period into two days (instead of the normal five; I think that's one of Yaz's hallmark's) it also compressed my PMS all into two short days and I literally short circuited. I switched back to Yasmine after that. So don't worry, your post was all too familiar to me, it's not just you!
I thought that I was the only one going crazy! I've been taking Yaz for almost a year and even before I started taking it I was an emotional mess. I was taking Ogestrel at first then my boyfriend and I thought that Yaz would help with my emotions. The first month it did seem to help me out, but the months after that it seemed like I was back to my emotional self or maybe even worse. My boyfriend and I got married a month ago and instead of it being a honeymoon every day, we're always having fights that I start for littlest things and I've lost my sex drive. I think I too should start taking Yasmin.
