I've been on Levaquin 500mg for almost a week. All of a sudden I have pain in my right arm, mainly from my shoulder to my elbow. It kind of aches/burns. I also have some pain behind my right knee and in my middle to lower back. Are these side effects of Levaquin? I didn't have any of this until I started taking this medication. I have a call into the doctor, hopefully something will help the discomfort.

Your symptoms are most likely related to the Levaquin. You are experiencing symptoms that others have had with the drug. You should stop taking this drug and ask your doctor for another antibiotic.
please stop taking this poison. tell your dr to give you something that's not in the fluoroquinolone family. YES, this is a reaction to the medicine. Make sure your records get marked that you are allergic to this. This stuff comes in other names: avelox, cipro, etc. Also, please send in a MedWatch report by going to www.fda.gov. Good luck to you
