I was on Celexa for about 5 weeks for panic attacks and anxiety but wasn't getting much better. My doctor switched me to Zoloft, I was on it about 10 days but I decided to discontinue it yesterday because it was causing extreme drowsiness, horrific headaches, weird crying spouts, and more anxiousness. Today, the first day being off Zoloft is harsh, I was in bed half the day and I feel like I'm in a dream and the headache is still there. Although , its about 630pm now and I feel a little better than earlier but not much. Hopefully tomorrow will be better? I'm also on Ativan.

Oh sweet Jesus, count your blessings. That drug is possibly the most horrendous concoction out there to come off of if you have been on it for any length of time. I spent 8-9 weeks curled up in a sniveling heap of 'please let me die, I can't take this agony any longer' mess. Yes it is that nasty. I wish you didn't have to feel any pain sweet person but you've made the best decision and the anxiety will pass shortly and it will get better it really will. Hang in there! Just to note after 11 years on zoloft I tried celexa only 20 mg and it seems to be helping since I started about 6 weeks ago.
