I can understand your concerns at starting this medication. You see it listed #3 on this website for "most side effects". But keep in mind that it is a very widely prescribed drug. And those that haven't experienced side effects probably aren't too inspired to seek out a site like this and report "all is well".

My doctor seemed concerned with only one side effect. I was to let him know if I developed a dry cough. He implied that was the only side effect, so for me, it was a relief to find that others were experiencing the same things that I felt.

It was calming to me to realize "oh, that is just a side-effect". Next you decide if that particular side effect is one you can live with. If not, press your doctor for something else, keeping in mind that "something else" may have its own side effects.
