I never thought about Vytorin being an issue until I went to the ear, nose and throat guy the other day for an earache and bronchitis I had been having for the last month. Reviewing my chart, he said what ever you have heard in the news about Vytorin just ignore and keep taking it. Long story short, every since August I have been having what the doctors might think is MS, but they can't peg it. Tremors and seizures, constant pain in my legs and arms, a vision problem, tired all the time, numbness in my face legs and arms, headaches, depression. the list goes on. I had stomach problems but they could never find anything wrong for my feeling sick all the time, so I'm on another med for that. I was just hospitalized again, this time for pancreatitis, again they have no idea why this occurred, they can't explain it. I just know that I am tired of feeling like crap and being sick and being in the hospital all the time. I am going to talk to my doctors about being pulled off the Vytorin and we will see how I feel then. Plus I guess I need to consult my attorney also.

Hi: I just read your post about Vytorin. I have been on it for quit awhile. First I started out on 10/20 then my doctor increased it to 10/40 and then my cardiologist wanted to raise it to 10/80 the maxium dose but my primary doctor suggested I not raise it. Then recently I saw the news about it on TV. Which scared me, so I called my primary doctor and he said stop taking it and I would see him in a month. I have stiffness, especially in my knees and other pain such as in my left shoulder, that went on for months but has eased up. I also have problems with my bladder. I have to wear Poise all the time. I just chalked it all up to getting older. Also I have trouble sleeping, and feel exhausted all the time. Just doing one little thing, like buying groceries or really anything, then I have to go to bed. I have other problems too but I just wonder how much of this is related to Vytorin. Also I have severe depression. Who wouldn't!!!! I just happened on this site by accident and was amazed at all these posts about Vytorin. I agree to that all these people should see their lawyer.
