Yes - I am experiencing the same side effects - I just started Arimidex on Dec 29, 2007 - they have slowly been coming on. I feel sickly almost all of the time now - absolutely no energy. I wonder if there is something else a person can take to combat the side effects?
I have been taking Arimedex since November,2007. I was diagnosed w?breast cancer in Feb,2008, completed six rounds of chemo and 33 of radiation. I do have the muscle aches, headaches, hot flashes and other side effects, but my greatest deterrent to continuing use is the overwhelming depression and mood swings that seem to come out of nowhere. I have not been depressed in more than 20 years and even experienced an amazing peace, calm and overall excellent mood and mind frame throughout my treatment regimen. For myself, I will stop taking the drug. This is a very personal decision and I would not suggest it for anyone else. Peace and blessings in your journey!!!
