I had kenalog injections in my face, on my cheek for a cyst. I had no idea it would eat away at the tissue. I now have a "bruised" sunken-in spot on my face the size of a half dollar. It is absoultely terrible.

Please lets not give up!!If everyone calls someone we will get somewhere, Has any female had to get a ovary removed because of a complex cyst during the course of this med???I asked my MD about this bruise, and sunken in skin,he said that it eats away the fat from the injection site.That it will come back eventually.I had joked with him that they shuld use it to get rid of fat thats all over my body, he said they actually have tried, but the testing failed. SO, we now know, that the company is totallt aware of this side affect,so why do our docs still give us this shot without telling us about side affects???

My daughter (now 14) is experiencing pain both emotionally and physically as a result of receiving a steriod injection. She had a huge indention/crater in her right buttcheek. She's so embarassed about it. I am contacting the doctor this week who suggested she receive the shot and I'm going to ask for his assistance in paying for treatment to fix it. I have what looks like Cushing's Syndrome possibly briught on by the 2 injections I have had. I was also hospitilized with viral meningitis. I haven't been able to work or travel in more than a month and I am still home on the couch recovering. Can anyone help me get justice for this? I can't believe the Dr.'s are continuing to use this drug! Mine was given in the epidural space which is not recommended according to the drug label itself!
