I was taking 75 mgs daily and still felt nervous, but completely myself. after I told my doctor, she upped my dosage to 150 mgs. for about a month, I felt really weird, and totally disconnected. After a month though, I felt a lot better. I haven't had any other symptoms since then.

Hey, just wanted to respond to ur post. I also was on effexor, being bumped everytime they thought the med was losing its effect...until i was taking 300 mg along with other meds. The medication was the BOMB while it was working and I sang praises for its abilities. Now being taken off of it, I sing NOTHING in it's praises.

The medication is working for you and that is great. All I wan't to say is be very careful, if and when they / or you decide it is time to stop taking it.

If you don't read the posts now, come back when they are relavent for you. There are tons from those of us tring to get through stopping this medication, and the terrible things that it does while stopping.

Don't ever stop cold turkey, always consult ur doctor...i found that out the hard way.
