I don't know what to do, I have been on Levaquin (750 mg) for approx. 8 days now, I have 6 more days to go. I was prescibed this drug due to being diagonosed with MRSA. However the infection has gone away, I began to have extreme pain in my both knees. Sleeping has been difficult as well waking up with night sweats. I will bare the pain for the 6 remaining days. But if the pain tends to get worse, I will need to consult my physician

Stop taking this drug immediatley and cll your doctor and ask to be prescribed another antibiotic. You will regret it if you don"t. I took a massive dose via I.V. and then foloweed for ten days 750 mg a day and was in total agony for the next three to four months. Believe me, you need to get off it NOW!!!!!!! I would recommend you stop dosing IMMEDIATELY. Don't, however, expect your doctor to even be remotely aware of the drug's ugly side effects.
