I'm taking 400 mg of Provigil, 200 in the morn and 200 in the afternoon. What are the side effects? I take five diff. drugs and am trying to figure out what med. is causing what in my body. Also is this drug safe to take for a long time? I am taking it for Bipolar 1 disorder because my other drugs make me groggy. I get facial paresthesia (pins and needles, skin energy feeling) as the day wears on. does anyone experience this from Provigil? I think it might be from Geodon, but i want to be clear. Thanks.

I also take Provigil and have bipolar disorder. I get tingling and pins and needles in my hands and feet, mostly at night and in the early morning.

Hello.I used to that Geodon stuff. It made me mad!!Like crazy mad. I had that funny feeling like pins and needles, and that thing that you call skin energy feeling was like needing to crawl out of my skin. Forget Provigil as the culprit 4 all that stuff. IT IS THE GEODON!!!!!!!!! I stopped taking the DON and all of those bad,bad things went away inside of 1 week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
thank GOD. and thanks 4 helping me know that i wasn't the only one.
