I have recently discovered that I too have had a major side effect from this drug. I only received one injection 5 months ago in the buttocks for an allergic reaction I was having and now I have a huge indention like crater in the area that looks like the tissue has been eaten away. I did not even know it was from that since it has been a while and only one shot. After finding this website and talking to my doctor's office. They did confirm that the shot given was Kenalog and in that spot which I was certain of after reading so many others who have this side effect as well. I am very interested in joining a class action lawsuit. People need to be warned of these major effects. I would have NEVER allowed the injection to be given had I been warned.

I'm looking for a class action firm that will represent my son, Christopher, who suffered heart valvular problems after taking Risperdal. I am sure that there are many other victims who has suffered heart related injuries while prescribed Risperdal or Risperidone treatment. The current class-action only covers diabetes and neurological damages due to taking Risperdal.

I am also experiencing the same thing
I had kenalog injected once about 6 months ago, and it left a crater in my buttocks that has now grown
I am interested in participating in a class action law suit also, do you know if anyone has started one or who the attorney might be?
This is so discouraging! But, I am also somewhat relieved to know Im not the only one. This drug must be stopped, or at least the side effects told before receiving the injection.

So what is the status on flining a class action suit against Kenalog? I know a lot of attorneys that may see this as a lucrative case. The botton line, is that this medication is being placed in the hands of inexperienced professionals who are given mimimal training and knowledge as to the risks of this drug. A consent form should be a prerequisite to any treatment and it needs to contain the down and diry of how kenalog can severely distort the body in the are that it is injected.

I too have had a reaction to Kenalog injection. Mine is on my right wrist just between the bottom thumb joint and wrist joint. The skin is very thin, no hair growth, and super sensitive. I also have tissue loss. I seen that you have a few responses to your post, any word of a class action law suit. I will be willing to join in

Hello, I had a Kenalog injection around 8 months ago. I had the injection on my right buttocks. Now I have a indention about the size of a silver dollar. I have been doing lots of research on the internet and I believe that it was from the Kenalog shot. I would like to know if this is going to get worst or what. Patty

I read your story about kenalog, my daughter had an injection at the base of her thumb 8 mo. ago. Now her wrist is indented and disclolored and the indentation is moving up her arm. We've been to several md's and they all say, "wow i've never seen this before" she's 23 and very upset. We get no help. Don't know where to turn. We'd be interested in a class action suit. We were never told about the side effects

My daughter is 12 years old and back in August of 2008 she was given a shot of Kenalog for some bumps she had on her arm. Before I even knew what was going on and why, the PA told her nurse to give my daughter the injection in her arm. With in a month she had a huge indention on her arm 2 inches wide and 1 inch deep. I am furious and want some one to be liable for what has happened to my daughter. I went back to her doctor and he said the shot should have never been giving in her arm and that the damage was permanent. We have been trying to get with the doctor again and to get my daughters records but they keep giving us the run around. My daughter is very embarressed about how her arm looks. I would have never let her get this shot if I would have known about this side effect. Please let us know if there is a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT that we can be part of.
