Give it sometime. I have been on aviane for 2years now and am completely happy with it. The lack of sex drive can be a result of other things in your life, ie: stress, work, etc.. A weeks worth a pills would not turn your sex drive around in such a short time. In addition, its a low dose pill so it shouldn't affect you as much as a higher dose would. Unlike other pills I have been on in the past, Aviane does not cause me to retain a crazy amount of water, my skin is clear and I don't have cravings. In fact, I probably lost weight in aviane. Anyways, just give it sometime to kick in.
Then you should go on Alesse 28. I have been on it for 7 years and you just dont get those side effects. Recently my pharmacist suggested me to change to Aviane since it was the generic brand that my insurance was covering so I did. Worst mistake ever made. My sex drive decrease by lots, massive migraines...the ones you still wake up in the morning with, and I'm like a box of Kleenex since I cry all the time. Before my switch I was a happy-go-lucky kinda girl...So I say you should do the switch!
