I was on NuvaRing for 6 months then got off. I started back again...

I was on NuvaRing for 6 months then got off. I started back again in Jan. I was having brown discharge every time w/ a odor. I tried washing constantly, didn't work. I got tired of the smell and got off of the ring. Symptoms went away. Got back on in Jan. and been having problems since day one with the severe headaches, then something new breakthrough bleeding. First it was spotting, then got my period while I still had the NuvaRing inside. I removed it and still have my period.
