been taking Altace for about 1 year. never experience the terribl3e cough i hear so much about. however do have the following with a 2.5mg. feeling of throat closing or jammed, very cold feet at times, lightheadedness all the time. i also take Toprol xl 25mg so the combo could make it even more so. all my tests come out normal, so it has to be this medicine. i guess you either have to live with it or go through a trial and error period with other medication.

Have similar you should daily check blood pressure, i found none BP was 118/78/70 pulse, 1.25 mg 98/58/52, cold finger tips and toes, and warmness around belt like 2 hours after eating for 4 hours, and some constipation. 1/2 the pill 110/64/70 fell better no numbness and tummy problems less. You might like to try less, but ask DR if you want to stop completely

taking 10 mg in the morning with 20 mg of adalat xl and 5mg of altace in the afternoon. i am going to stop taking all, as my bp has been low for about 1 yr or so now. i have been taking these drugs total for about 11/2 yr. the dr told me that he has taken people off bp meds that have been on them for 10 years. he said there is no after effects, unless bp goes up higher. then i will just take herbs. a
anyways, with altace, very cold hands and feet, sore achey joints on hands and feet.
