I have also been having night sweats since using the ring. I'm only on to the second ring and didn't actually make a connection until I googled "thrush and Nuva ring". Now it has just occurred to me that this might be the reason I have been crying all the time at the drop of a hat (like when i'm in a restaurant with my husband or doing something else really normal or fun). I developed thrush and took a Diflucan once tablet for it but i still feel irritation. My acne has returned which I expected though as it only go's when I'm on Dianne. And my libido has just started to fade, it takes much longer to reach orgasm.

I have only been on the NuvaRing for a month now. I wanted to try it because EVERY birth control pill I've been on made me bleed the ENTIRE time I was on them & the Depo shot made me bleed also & I've been on LOTS of different birth cintrols but I have to say, that only being on the NuvaRing for a month- I have had SEVERE depression, No sex drive at all, tired ALL the time, big increase in appetite & REALLY BAD NIGHT SWEATS also. I'd wake up at night soaked. I would be mostly soaked all around my neck. I only had it in for a month & I have bled the entire month just like ALL the other birth control I've tried. My sister used the NuvaRing about a year before me & didn't like it. She had some of the same side affects as me but she had the cramping REAL bad but I wanted to try it since NO other birth controls worked for me-making me bleed the ENTIRE time I was on them. I have 4 kids already & I'm 30 years old. I don't want any more kids so since i can't find a birth control that works for me, I've decided I'm getting my tubes tied. I personally DID NOT like the side affects I got from the NuvaRing but everyone's different but I would NOT reccomend the NuvaRing to any of my friends.

Just want to let you know, thanks to your posting, I now know why I was having night sweats! I went off the ring a couple months ago, because i suspected it was effecting my libido and causing depression for me. I also felt fatigue all the time. But I never connected it to the crazy night sweats till now... I haven't had any lately, maybe it's because I went of the ring.

I also have night sweats most nights, I just seem to 'run hot' at night. Usually I need blankets but I wake up in the middle of the night throwing the covers off from overheating. I found this site by googling 'Nuvaring acne' Because I got over acne 8 years ago and now Its all along my jawline and neck. If we are all suffering from this where are the experts and authorities and why doesn't the Drs. warn us of this and why didn't my dermatologist make the connection knowing I was on it? Thank God for the internet!

I've noticed the night sweats too! This is the 4th ring I've been on so far and I noticed the night sweats about the 3rd ring in. I thought it had to do with the mattress I just got and it being really insulating but now I'm starting to see the connection with the ring. The night sweats happen about 2-3 times a week, making for several nights of bad sleep. The drop in my libido was also a major side-effect for me, which I noticed started tapering off around the 2nd ring and now after reading everyone's posts, I've decided that the ring is no good for me. I'm taking it out and seeing how things go...
