Yes reineresser, sharp, stabbing pains in my chest sent me to the ER twice, countless other times I just crossed my fingers and waited for the pains to go away. EKG always came back normal. Also, since I have a slight case of anxiety since my mom died, these sharp pains only accentuated those fears of death and made my life miserable.
I was on 20 mg. After going off it for two months and finally feeling normal, I visited my doctor who talked me into Provokol for high cholesterol (between 200-240) and wanted to put me on the BP meds again (at the dr.'s office 148/88, at home 137/78), so I agreed to the Lisinopril at just 10 mgs. Bad choice. I felt fine the first day, but the next the anxiety came back, the feeling of dread, aches and pains in my chest and arms, etc. I don't get the cough, thank god, but this is worse.
Will never take this stuff again.
I'm went off the stuff after the second day and I'm starting to feel a little better two days later, but in my experience it takes a while to feel better after going off this stuff.
