I have taken Levaquin 500 mg daily for the last 7 days. I am quitting it today! I am so tired. Cannot sleep! Have severe pain in both of my hips! I do not have a history of sleep disorder or hip pain!!! I even have severe pain in both of my shoulders now as well. My doctors insist this isn't from the med. My pharmacist differs in that opinion!! This stuff is POISON!!! I am a registered nurse and will preach this to any and everyone who will listen!!! I only pray I will not suffer a tendon rupture even after I have stopped this med! If that happens I will contact an attorney! Can we get a class-action lawsuit for all of us and to prevent others from this terrible experience???

I too am an RN and I am going to tell anyone who will listen about this POISON! I took only 5 pills and now 2 weeks later, I still have joint and muscle pain. My achilles tendon is so tight in my left leg, that I am worried about it rupturing. I will also hire an attorney if that happens. The bad thing is my Dr. has a set regimen for this flu that is going around. Nasocort, Allegra D, Mucinex, and Levaquin. He doesn't give anything else! Since reading about this horrible drug and seeing that it is supposed to be given as a last resort, I now question his judgement. I just started a new position at the hospital and I can't take time off. I have to run the halls most of the day seeing up to 27 pts. I sometimes look like an old lady. Is there an end to this?

If you can figure out or hear of a class action law suit to get this poison off the market then I'm game. I stopped taking it after taking it for 2 weeks. The joint pain along with severe pain in the bottom of my feet has been very debilitating. I just hope it does go away.

I took Levaquin and have experience severe pain in both knees, to the point that I could bearly walk without support, holding onto the walls or rails. I experience difficulty going up and down stairs. These are things that I have never had a problem with before. It also takes great effort to pull myself up from my chair whether it has good support or not. There are also 2 women on my job that have and are experiencing severe joint pain, 1 in her hips the other in her knees. +****** Legeisha21
