The doctor gave me Trazodone to sleep at night. I was going through a bad time taking care of my dieing husband, working full time and taking care of the kids. It gave me severe nightmares, ones that were so real that it was like they were in 3-D. Its hard to explain. I started to hate going to bed at night. Then I got smart and quit taking the stuff.

Thank you for this, I thought I was going insane! My nightmares were so vivid I couldn't convince myself they weren't real, though they were so outlandish. Not being able to wake myself out of them was the most frightening thing, something awful would happen to me but I couldn't escape. And yes, they were 3D and in brilliant color. I am only on 50mg a night but I am stopping.
