I had bacterial pneumonia a few weeks ago they gave me Levaquin as well, After the hospital I notice some pain in my left arm. A week later I was unable to straighten my arm now the pain has moved up to my neck and back and is slowly reaching my right shoulder. It seems that though you ask doctors question you never get answers and yes its true about this pain I have been in agony for almost a month now and can not find any type of relief. I was treated with a 7 day regimen of medication and I don't know what is worst the pneumonia or the pain. If there is any where to find relief as a natural source please post it Thank you

Those of you who are suffering these horrendous side effects as invited to join the fqresearch forum hosted by Yahoo that deals with this. You will find others who have suffered these same COMMON reactions to this class who may offer some support and ways of dealling with this; Here is the address:

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/fqtoxicity/

Hopefully you will find something of value there.

Maria, please send in a Medwatch report to www.fda.gov and then go to www.fqvictims.org and you'll find a lot of help there. Helen

Sorry to say this but time seems to be the only healer here. I took this stuff in the form of Cipro many times off and on, the got a major kidney infection and was blasted with Levaquin by I.V. and then orally. I was never the same. My fingers don"t move the way they used to and after 8 months am finally walking downstairs like a normal person. The pain in my joints was unbeivable and not even on exertion, just lying in bed at night my knees would throb. My dr. said it was "sudden onset arthritis". Imagine, now it is almost gone but the side effects still linger. It will be better later so hang in there!!!!Marsh
