Read m post and i promise you'll thank me. Im 27 too and went off Yasim to Femcon. Its amazing. No weight gain, no crazy feeling, and much better skin.
I just went off Yaz-and prior was on Loestrin 24-don't take Yaz- ask for something else- i'm trying Mircette.
Hey! 28 and on Yasmin for about 1 and a half years.... no side effects at all
Honey, I have NO side effects! i have lost weight about 15 lbs since I have been on it (4months). I was on Ortho before and didnt have a problem with it either, I just started to gain some weight, so my doc changed it. Different strokes for different folks! YOU may love it or YOU may hate it! You will never know until you try! God Bless!
Jennifer, don't let other people make you feel crazy, and tell your doctor, point-blank, that you will not take Yaz. My daughter, 30 years old and formerly healthy and a non-smoker, took Yaz for just 3 months and is in the ICU right now with clots in leg and lung. She could have died if we had not gotten to the ER in time. We have been through hell the last couple of days, and she will now spend at least 6 months on Coumadin/anticoagulant. Please don't let that happen to you; there are better choices out there, although all birth control pills have some risk of blood clot.
I am updating from my original post, I never took yaz the side effects scared me too bad and I called my Doc not to long after I posted on here and asked her to switch me back to ortho tri cyclen and she did and since I started taking ortho tri cyclen again I feel normal, happy and back to myself Thank The Lord!
After reading about yaz I think they should take it off the market! Thank God for Ortho Tri Cyclen!
To everyone who got sick from yaz I hope you all get better soon!
