please know that we that have been affected by this poison are so sorry this happened to your father. Please send a MedWatch report in to www.fda.gov. Try to get something from the Dr. that says he had an allergic reaction to this poison and that's why he died. Did your father have diabetes. Did they mix the levaquin with any other drugs? All this is very important. Please let us know. Helen

I am also very sorry to hear about your father. My dad experienced hives as a result of taking levaquin last fall. He has adult diabetes & they gave it to him after a bout of pneumonia. He didn't break out right - more like a week or 2 later. Then he had a 2nd bout of pneumonia & they gave him more Levaquin (we weren't positive the first time it was the Levaquin) & this time he had a more severe rash & got it much sooner. He does take other medications.
