I am a 62 year old male. And I have been experiencing exactly the symptoms that you are saying, and in addition to these I also have some swelling in my foot. All of my symptons are in the left foot. I take so many different kinds of medicine, it is difficult to try and narrow it down. But after reading your post, I think I may be on the right track.

I developed terriblew painful feet on Diovan, stopped it and in four-five days the joint pain was gone. I have tried so many anti-hypertensives and many caused me joint and muscle pain. I am now on plain old fashion diuretic and it has had the least side effects.
