Hi there i have PCOS and saw where u seemed a little worried about taking yaz and Meteformin( or comminly known as glucophage) I have been taking meteformin for over a year and it really does help with the weight loss i am 20 years old 5'3 and weigh a healthy 135 pounds now. I still hadnt got my period regulated so about 2 months ago i started taking yaz and it seemes to be fine, i do notice my appetite is heavier but that happens with any brithcontrol the good thing about yaz is it is a very low dose therefore the side effects are less than other birthcontrol pills. trust your doctor on this one because those 2 medicians compliment eachother and they will do nothing to harm you at all!
Hi....I took Yasmin and had HORRIBLE problems....actually I listed them a few weeks ago on this site...but I have PCOS and that's why I was taking it...I have also taken the Metformin and all I have to say about that is it gave me HORRIBLE diahrrea and cramps....I would say try it b/c you will know within a day or so if your body can handle the Metformin...as far as the Yasmin...girl, I would NOT take it!
