YES, it took me five weeks of the ring being out of my body to start a period. And now I've had my period w/ alternating heavy to barely there bleeding for NINE days! How long have you been off the NuvaRing? I hate that damn ring. It's been the cause of so much pain & mental anguish!

Honey, I've been off of it for a year! I have not been able to have a period without taking Prometrium (progesterone). It happened to a co-worker of mine that was also on NuvaRing. We are both having to take Clomid to get pregnant now. A fertility drug. All because of the NuvaRing. Warn everyone you know that is on it!
